For Yellow 333 we created a chat bot solution for the company’s Viber public channel, which greatly augments the consumer experience . With the bot users can order a taxi based on the location of their phone or a text address. The bot checks addresses in Google Maps, Google Places and connects with the backend API to further check addresses and schedule rides. Bot users can select the vehicle type and add a note to the driver. The chatbot estimates distance to the destination, the approximate duration of the trip and the approximate cost.
Adoption of the bot has been swift with 72% month on month growth.
